item # OME876

Here is a very rare military Omega vintage watch.  This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military watch.  According to collectors, it is also known as the cigarette watch.  Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watches for cigarette pack and that is where they get the name "cigarette watch".  Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exist in today's market.  Most of which are with refinished dial or in very poor condition.  This particular one still retain its factory original finish well aged dial.  The dial is very unique with the combination of roman numeral and spot hour indexes.  The hands luminous are not the original lumes, however, they are in the correct tone to the original luminous.  The watch will come with a brand new crystal and new case back gasket.  Original unsigned crown.  The rare 30T2 manual wind movement has been professionally serviced.  Movement serial number is 10470760 dating this watch to 1945.  The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35mm across excluding the crown by 42mm lug tip to lug tip.  Case model is 2400-7.  This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new vintage style handmade genuine leather strap.
