1958 VINTAGE OMEGA CONSTELLATION WATCH

item # OME961

Up for sale is this very Rare vintage Omega Constellation gent's watch.  Omega made a mass quantity of vintage Constellation which all look quite similar during the 1950s.  In order to separate them from most rare to most common, it all comes down to condition, dial tone and variation, and the sort of case tone.  There are two reasons which make this Constellation very rare and they are, the factory cross hair white dial with rose gold hour indexes AND the unpolished original rose gold two tone case.  Finding an original white dial is as rare as finding an original black dial.  Do not get confused between an original white dial as a satin or silver tone dial.  Many people would consider a silver or satin tone dial as white.  But to actually find an actual white white dial is very difficult especially one in this great of condition.  The original set of hands are in excellent condition.  The dial and hands still retain their original luminous which no longer glow.  Gold tone case is common, but one in rose gold is seldom to come across.  Case has a solid gold bezel and a solid gold case back medallion.  Lugs are rose gold capped over stainless steel.  Case model is 2852-4 SC and measures 34.5mm across excluding the crown by 43mm lug tip to lug tip.  Brand new crystal and new case back gasket.  Crown is original signed and is rose gold as well.  The automatic movement is an Omega caliber 505 with serial number 16303474 dating this timepiece to 1958.  The movement has been recently serviced and is running strong and accurate.  The watch is ready for daily wear and will come with a high quality 18mm new genuine leather strap.  Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
